Meet the Speakers

Steven Glass is Medical Mutual of Ohio’s President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company’s board of directors. Mr. Glass joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2002 and was named the organization’s Chief Financial Officer in 2005. In that role, he was responsible for the overall financial operations of the Cleveland Clinic and its subsidiaries worldwide. Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic, Mr. Glass was Vice President of Finance for MedStar Health, a large healthcare delivery system in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Glass earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Towson University in Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is on the board of directors for the Greater Cleveland Partnership and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Mary Delaney is the thought leader and creator behind the Vital Incite program. She founded Vital Incite in October of 2013 and brought a fresh perspective to the world of employee benefits. She partners with employers to analyze the health risk factors of employee populations, alongside historical medical spend, to identify areas of opportunity. Armed with an understanding of the health and financial challenges that a specific employer is facing, she develops integrated strategies that include wellness program design, health care benefit utilization and employee communication. These strategies are designed to help employers and employees better manage medical expense by improving employee health outcomes.

Bob Eisendrath is a Healthcare sales executive with strong relationship, sales, analytical, quantitative skills and a demonstrated record of results in growth, problem resolution, efficiency improvements, financial modeling, forecasting and strategic planning. Track record of success at organizations that include CVS Caremark and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Success as an influential leader with experience in building and leading a team to desired outcomes and goals. Extremely effective in translating strategic initiatives into actionable steps and working collaboratively across all levels. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain executive level relationships while consistently meeting and exceeding growth and retention goals while leading team of over 20 sales professionals with a $3.6B portfolio.

Tom Wirbel is focused on helping clients manage their employee benefits plans. He has achieved notable success in helping client companies address the escalating costs of health insurance through a series of proactive and innovative strategies. Tom has shared his expertise with thousands of local HR, Finance, and Management professionals through speaking engagements with the HR Star Conference, College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, the Benefit Advisors Network, Institute of Management Accounts, EDGE, Maingate Business Development, and others. Tom has also embraced opportunities to help the local community through volunteer engagements with the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Junior Achievement and the Chagrin Athletic Association.

Paul Nachtwey delivers high-performing benefits programs for employers. His client engagements result in decreased costs for enterprises, confidence in compliance, more engaged employees, highly productive HR teams, and a total rewards approach to better attract and retain top talent. With more than 25 years of experience, Paul has served in consulting and sales roles with PwC and Medical Mutual and currently is a Sales Executive and Practice Leader with Todd Associates, an Alera Group Company.
